0:40- Talks about Parson Cross (where he grew up), being one of 8 children- not unusual at this time in this area, family life- his parents, his childhood friends

4:00- How childhood in the Sixties was different to modern day

6:10- Steve discusses Parson Cross and its history, 1/10th of the population of Sheffield living there

8:15- Talks about free time as a youngster- ie playing with rockets, making throwing arrows, ‘Saturday morning cinema’- going to the cinema as a big part of social life, the cartoons that he saw and the children’s film foundation
