In their own words:
Work in the 21st century
Overview
Overview
In summer 2022, four student interns – Aine Connell, Kevin Harris, Katie Smullen, and Archie Wood – collaborated with Archie Cornish and Cathy Shrank from the School of English, conducting oral history interviews with 18-24-year-olds and mature students about their experiences and perceptions of employment, as part of the AHRC-funded Penniless? project.
The outcome was 'In their own words: Work in the 21st century'.
Many thanks to our interviewees: this project would not have been possible without their input and the generous gift of their time, as well as their memories and experiences.
A list of the interviews can be found here.
